OUR MISSION: To provide education for as many people as possible who are unable to provide such for
themselves; to provide housing for those in need and to support any other worthy charitable causes that
may enhance mankind's mental and philosophical evolution in all that is fine and noble.
PLEASE SEE "PROGRAMS" FOR CURRENT PROJECT DETAILS
Our primary focus is the 1,000,000 homeless children currently in our country and the 500,000+ children in
our foster care system steadily year after year. 1,500,000. of our children every year whose futures are
desperately at risk. Our management is of the opinion that the true number is closer to 2,500,000. These are
the children who fall into child prostitution, thievery, drugs, murders and suicides - nearly all children in the
foster care system also become homeless at age 18 - even if they have succeeded in remaining in school.
NOTE: Since the text was initially placed on this page, the increase in homeless
children (and their families) ha increased steadily.
Our current in-process programs include:
(1) Our "Icon Village" residences for youth who become homeless upon aging out of the foster care
system, as well as those who become homeless for other reasons, and who wish to continue their
education.
(2) Futures For Children Fund: is a program to provide computers, clothes, shoes, winter coats, and other
items for homeless youth as well as funds for special school programs (primary school 1- 12) that can cost
$300.00 or more. Funds for these programs are necessary for the young student in order to maintain their
grades. Children living in disadvantaged households and children in the foster care category who live with
relatives other than with parents In California alone, out of approximately 100,000 foster children, about
50,000 live with relatives - mainly grand parents, many of whom live on set incomes. They experience
hardship trying to give a child the necessities required for the child to function, feeling equal to their
classmates. All children living in disadvantaged circumstances are potentially "at-risk children."
We know there are educational facilities everywhere, however, most youngsters in the "foster home"
system lose weeks each time they change residences, weeks that become months - they begin to fail,
falling far behind others in their age group - they fail grades, lose pride and self esteem. These innocent
young boys and girls deserve a future. They deserve an experience that will stimulate enthusiasm again,
giving them incentive to learn and take hold of the opportunity to become contributing adults.
"Our children are literally the future of our country and the world!"
