3) Partners and Supporters
PARTNERS: Many of our Icon Newsletter readers are familiar with
the Clipper Mills, Yuba County, CA location of the new Icon Village.
For readers unfamiliar with this particular project: This is the location of
the first Icon Village, being created to provide residence and education for
homeless youth aged 17 to 24+ from CA, NV, and anywhere USA.
While Icon International Foundation is "not" a faith based organization it
is non racial and non religious in its structure, and has wonderful faith
based organizations contributing time and efforts toward this project.
Qualified as our 'partners' through participation in the project in some
manner are as follows:
Paradise Ministries / Rev. Steve McFarland. Raymond (Ray) Smith,
member of the Paradise Ministries is known as a skilled organizer of
complex projects, with many years of experience in coordinating school
administrators and teaching staff;
Plantation Fellowship Ministries, a US 501 (c)(3) organization, the work of
which has been and is currently in Papua New Guinea, teaching literacy.
They have currently taught over 2000 teachers.
Kathryn Springsteen and Dr. Bruce Renich are contributors to the New
Guinea and to the Icon Village educational and support programs.
Springsteen is a linguist, and Dr. Renich will contribute as a student
advisor and in annual lecture series.
UPDATE ON THE VILLAGE: (1) Renovation at the Icon Village, Clipper Mills location of has been nearly completed. (2) Financing programs to sustain the Village are in progress now. (3) IIF hopes to issue its invitation to the first group of homeless youth to come, live and study at the Village a year earlier than initially anticipated (2012).

The DeCouto Group International has become a supporter of Icon
International Foundation in an effort to assist IIF in its efforts to
develop Icon Villages and other projects geared to change the lives and
in some cases, save the lives of American youth as well as others.
The DeCouto Group's International Mission is to promote education
to prevent Bullying, Cyber Safety, Child Vulnerability to Child
Predators, and more.
Paul DeCouto President of DeCouto Group has determined the mutual
support of our combined Missions could be crucial to untold numbers
of children and youth. For this reason the DeCouto Group
International has thrown the full support of its international company
behind Icon International Foundation.
"Thank You, DeCouto Group International"
Visionscope This new program for Icon International Foundation is structured to educate as many of the 12 Million Americans of all ages from children to seniors as possible, suffering from such as Macular Degeneration, and other deceases slowly causing grave vision difficulties and blindness. The program provides up-to-date material on related technology, latest research and medical break-through. The project strives to assist people in retaining their independence.
Mr. Harold D. Blethen volunteers his time as Director and Coordinator for this program. Mr. Blethen also suffers from Macular Degeneration. For more information on this, please return to our Home Page and press the Visionscope button. Mr. Blethen is seeking other volunteers with interest in this field to become Area Directors in N. Nevada towns. Blethen hopes this program may later be expanded into other states.
